Hi folks! I'm Rafa, a Amsterdam-based engineering manager with a love for building cool stuff.
Inspired by my father, I started programming at the age of 14, and it became one of my passions. Later, I studied Computer Science and became a Mobile Developer. I have took part on the development of about a dozen successful mobile apps (more about that bellow). Later, I found a new passion in Management. I am currently working at Backbase where I collaborate with financial institutions from all over the world in their digital transformation.
Some Projects I'm proud of:
Neo SNB - Saudi National Bank
I contributed as Engineering Manager, part of the core team, in different stages of the project. Although this was a challenging project with a demanding costumer, it shaped me as EM.
Cembra
My contribution on this project was as iOS Engineer and Tech Lead. Cembra is a Swiss bank and we developed an app where the costumers can check their account overview, transaction history, manage cards and more. Built in Swift.
Adidas GLITCH
My role was of mobile developer, with experience in native development and transitioning to React Native. We developed an e-commerce UX centered app in React Native and Redux.
